Society as a whole had started to become too politically correct. It was a ripe time to say good-bye to the metrosexual, and welcome back the retro-sexual. And what better product to do that than a meat sandwich.
THE RESULTS:
The spots in particular sparked a debate amongst many ad blogs (including adweek) about the oversensitivity and over interpretation of commercial messaging.
